These Terms of Use govern your use of the ATC Radar Simulator website at atcradarsimulator.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The service

ATC Radar Simulator is a free-to-play, browser-based game and educational aid that simulates the work of an approach (APP) radar controller. It is provided for entertainment and learning.

ATC Square (community content)

ATC Square is the Site's community area, open to everyone to read; posting, commenting, liking and following need a free account, and you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for what you post, including photos and the videos you link. You keep ownership of it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it on the Site; you can delete your posts and comments at any time.

Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or violent; spam, advertising or self-promotion; other people's personal information; photos of other people without their permission; or content you do not have the right to share (only post photos you took or are allowed to share). Never present simulator content as real-world operational advice. Our moderators may remove content and suspend or ban accounts from ATC Square at their discretion. Use ⋯ → Report to flag anything that breaks these rules. Content on ATC Square is written by its members and does not represent the views of the Site.

ATC card maker

The Flappy Pilot leaderboard shows members' best scores. Play fairly: scores from modified games, scripts or bots, or sent other than by playing, are not allowed, and our moderators may remove them and ban the account from the leaderboard and ATC Square.

The ATC card maker turns your photo into a fun controller card. Cards are for entertainment only — they are not a licence, qualification or identity document, and must not be presented as one. Only use photos of yourself, or of people who agree. A card you share by link follows the ATC Square rules above; you can delete it at any time (without an account, from the browser you made it in). Anyone can report a card: one reported by several people is hidden until our moderators review it, and they may remove any card that breaks the rules.

Premium purchases

An optional Premium upgrade is available for a one-time payment of $5.00 USD. It removes the free-tier session limits, unlocks emergency traffic, auto-generated traffic and the instructor tools, and turns off ads. It is not a subscription and never renews. Premium is linked to your account, so you need a free account to buy it.

Payments are processed by PayPal, including card payments; we never see or store your card details. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Not for real-world use

The Site is a game. It is not real air traffic control software and must not be used for real-world air navigation, flight planning, operational decision-making or certified training. Airports, procedures, navaids and aircraft behaviour are simplified and approximate and may not reflect current real-world data. Never rely on the Site for any real aviation purpose.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee the Site will be error-free or continuously available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Intellectual property

The Site's software, design and original text are the property of the ATC Radar Simulator project. Aeronautical data is derived from publicly available sources. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial play; you may not copy, resell or redistribute the Site as your own.

Advertising and third-party links

The Site is supported by advertising and may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
