How to play Airport Smash
The mischievous Ground Bots have taken over the airports: they have blocked the runways, piled up towers of crates and containers and switched on their own radars. Your heroes are five cartoon aircraft. Drag the aircraft back from the launch pylon to aim — the dotted line shows where it will fly — and let go to launch. Topple the towers onto the bots, smash through glass and wood, and set off the explosive barrels for a chain reaction.
Five heroes, five special abilities
Tap the screen (or press Space) while an aircraft is flying to use its ability, once per flight: Pip’s Sky Hop jumps over walls, Blaze’s Turbo Boost punches through several blocks, Hoppy drops a heavy cargo package, Tank armours up to smash metal and stone, and Shadow releases three drones that seek out the nearest bots.
Five kinds of mission
Smash the Bots: defeat every Ground Bot. Clear the Runway: push the obstacles off the runway without harming the parked aircraft. Cargo Rescue: land a package in the delivery zone. Radar Shutdown: knock out the robots’ radar — sometimes a big red switch does it. And the Boss Battles at the end of every chapter.
75 levels, three stars each
Every level awards one to three stars: finish with aircraft to spare for the best scores. Chapter 1, Airport Trouble, is free for everyone. A Premium account opens the other four — Cargo Chaos, Radar Rescue, Stormy Skies and Robot Headquarters — and the harder Premium Daily Smash.
Daily Smash and the leaderboards
A new Daily Smash challenge appears every day (UTC) — the same for every player, as many tries as you like. Sign in (it’s free) and your best goes on the daily leaderboard, your stars on the all-time stars board and your total on the score board. As a guest you can play straight away; your progress is kept on your device and moves to your account when you register.
