Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-05
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the ATC Radar Simulator website at atcradarsimulator.com (the “Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
Who we are
ATC Radar Simulator is an independent, free, browser-based game. You can contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
The Site does not require you to create an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name or address. The game runs entirely in your browser. We do, however, use third-party services that collect limited technical and usage information automatically:
- Usage & device data — via analytics tools: pages visited, approximate location (country/region), browser and device type, referring site, and general interaction data. This is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
- Local storage — the game stores your preferences (such as radar layer settings and your cookie choice) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Advertising data — the third-party ad network whose banner appears in the simulator may collect data through cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, as described below.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them for analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through the consent banner on the Site and through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how ads are shown but will not stop the game from working.
Advertising
The Site displays a banner supplied by a third-party advertising network. The advert is loaded inside its own isolated frame, and that network — not this Site — controls what is shown and may use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads.
- We do not share your personal information with advertisers, and the game itself does not collect personal data.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors at www.aboutads.info/choices and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser settings and the consent banner on this Site let you reject non-essential cookies at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and counter.dev to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. These services process data such as pages viewed and approximate location in aggregate. Google Analytics data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy.
Consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies. We use Google Consent Mode, which means our Google tags respect your choice — if you reject, ads and analytics operate in a limited, non-personalized way. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this Site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not hold accounts or directly-identifying data, most requests are best directed to the third-party services above; you may also contact us at [email protected].
Data retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Analytics and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
